Surgical Services

We offer a full range of surgical services, including most soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. We believe that safety and pain management are not optional for our pet patients any more than it would be for human patients. Therefore, we have established a very high standard protocol for all surgical patients. Our surgical suite is equipped with state of the art equipment and monitors. We utilize some of the safest anesthetic agents available. Your special companion is monitored constantly while under anesthesia by a technician. Pain medication is provided before and after surgery. By doing all this, we believe we have done all we can to assure a positive outcome for both you and your pet.

Medical and Diagnostic

Mars Hill Animal Hospital offers routine health care including wellness exams and vaccinations , puppy and kitten care, and geriatric programs. For those pets that are not feeling well, our clinic offers state of the art diagnostic services. Most lab work, including: preanesthetic profiles, geriatric profiles and diagnostic workups for ill animals are performed within minutes. This allows doctors to make a more accurate diagnosis and begin treatment sooner. We also have in house radiology (x-ray).

Boarding

Our boarding facilities can accommodate all types of boarding from day care to extended stays. Dogs are provided individual runs or cages. Cats have spacious cat “condos”. We will serve any special need your pet may have, such as administration of medications, special diets, bathing, and grooming as requested.

Grooming, Pet Supplies and Pet Gifts

For your convenience, we offer routine and special bathing for both dogs and cats. Please call (770) 725-CLIP (2547) to reserve a time. We also have a pet supply area, offering a complete line of pet care products. Products include a variety of collars, leashes, grooming supplies, and many unique pet oriented gifts and collectibles.
